April is a designer, she was recognized as the first designer to embrace computer technology as a sign tool. April was born on March 22, 1948 in New York, NY. She attended Kansas City Art Institute. Greiman has been instrumental in the acceptance and use of advanced technology in the arts and the design process since the early 1980's.
There were many in the graphic arts who were unable to embrace new digital technologies and found themselves out of work pretty quickly. As the printing, filmmaking and television industries moved firmly into digital means of production, it became incumbent upon graphic designers to embrace many of the software programs that made the Adobe company famous.
