These assignments have been very difficult for me, but I'm trying! The first poster is the original, the second one is my copy of just the bold black words (which I did pretty well with), and the third is my copy with everything. As you can see, it's not right. I don't know what I am doing wrong? Obviously the font, but I can't get the original layer to go away.

Very good... almost there! Add a blank layer by clicking on the new layer icon then using the eyedropper sample the original yellow then edit>fill with foreground color and fill the layer with the yellow... you will then have a nice clean and original copy.
