For week one I selected Jessica Walsh who was born in New York but raised in Ridgefield, Connecticut. She is an art director, graphic designer and an illustrator. At age 11 she started designing and coding websites. She studied graphic design at Rhode Island School of Design. At age 25 she made partner at an agency now named Sagmeister & Walsh. When Walsh graduated she moved back to New York and interned for Pentagram. Around that same time she was offered a job at Apple for 100,00 a year and she turned it down. Walsh works on mainly branding, typography, website design and art installations. Her style is bold, surrealistic and daring.
Here work is strong... Ridgefield! Next door to where I live in Redding.
On Horizontal images I like to make them "large" so they fit in the main column of the blog... then when you click on an image, it expands to full screen if the image is large enough...
