Introduction

Hello Everyone!

My name is Yakeita "Keita" Robinson and i'm in my junior year here at Albertus. I am a psychology major and thus far my learning experience at the school has been great. I have a 16 year old daughter who is in her junior year in high school and is heavily involved in extra-curricular activities. I currently work as the Chief of Staff, at Leadership, Education, Athletics in Partnership, Inc. (LEAP). LEAP is a nonprofit organization serving inner city youth in New Haven. I love working with youth and have been with the organization for many years. Upon completion of school I plan to use my degree to continue my work with families and youth. Although this graphic design is a distance learning class i'm looking forward to learning about the many aspects of graphic design as it will all be fairly new to me. I'm also looking forward to bring something that seems simple to life through design and to find creative ways to build upon what I have learned thus far in school and merge that with graphic design. I'm also looking forward to applying what I have learn to both my professional and personal life.
